Bible Study (Staying in THE WORD)

Lately I have been really struggling to read God's word on a daily basis. I feel the nudge from the Lord to do so (and I haven't been just blogging and neglecting it, when I do blog, I take time to read the word first) but I just can't seem to get the motivation to read and dwell on the word like I need to. So, if anyone wants to join me, I am going to be reading Philippians this week. Starting today with verses 1-5 of Chapter 1. Leave a comment and tell me if you are going to be reading with me and what you think about this particular book of the Bible or just staying in the word, in general! I would love to hear your suggestions about what works for you!

I will post on what I have read and understood in Philippian1:1-5 sometime later tonight or early tomorrow morning. I hope you will join me and come and be edified in God's word! Thank all of you for the encouragement you bring to my life!

Love ya'll,

Julie

*Also, this may sound silly but I am asking for prayers for my husband and me. He has only worked 1 full week out of the entire last 2 months! We have bills to pay and land taxes coming due and just a lot of stress right now. Please pray for us that we might get some relief and that we be wise stewards with the money we do have. Pray that my husband makes wise decisions and is released from some of this terrible stress. Thank you!

The apostle offers up thanksgivings and prayers, for the good work of grace in the Philippians. (1-7)
