Thankful Thursdays

I almost didn't get this up! I am just not feeling very well today. My husband and kids have all developed colds and I fear that I am going to succumb to the cold virus monster as well. However, there are MANY things to be thankful for, so here they are!

Parents who taught me morals- I have seen a few blogs lately with content that really disturbs me, most of it written by young people. I am thankful for parents who made me walk a straight line and I am grateful for in-laws who raised my husband to be a decent man of God.

Two beautiful little girls- I know that I always mention my girls but I am just so thankful to be a mother! Claire helped me sweep the floors today with her little broom and dustpan(thanks Aunt Crystal!) and put clothes in the washer & dryer and fold clothes (lol). She also helped me look for things that we needed at the grocery store (and a lot we didn't need, lol). She helped me make pumpkin bread tonight and she ate 2 pieces! Lily has started pulling my hair when I lean down and blow kisses on her belly and she just laughs when she figures out that I can't get back up! She is SO cute! What a joy they both are! Thank you so much Lord Jesus.

My wonderful husband- He has taken the time this week just to sit down and talk with me even though he is majorly exhausted and has to get up at 4:00 am every day. He has helped me work through a lot of problems this week and we have made some decisions, finally, that we both feel really good about. We have started following God's leading in all areas of our lives and I believe that we are being truly blessed for our obedience!!!!

* This is all that I am going to post tonight, I need to go to bed and give my baby girl her last feeding of the night until about 7:30 am hopefully. Please pray that her allergies get better and that their colds do not get to awfully bad. I have been so incredibly blessed through these Thankful Thursdays! For more, visit Iris at Sting My Heart!

Blessings,

Julie
