how my husband provides for our family.....

People often ask me what in the world my husband does...well, this...

He is the one in the yellow safety vest. It's kind of funny because in the first pic, it looks like he's getting a lecture but he's not! The guy pointing his finger is talking to the guy behind him taking the pictures, ha! :) This is a hydro-ax and it cuts down trees. This is what he leaves me early every morning and comes home late every night to do!! He doesn't make a tremendous amount of money but he is a dedicated worker and he is the best at what he does and he provides for us.

If you look closely, you will see the trees where the ax is turned over...that's the side of a mountain right there. This was when Lily was about 4 months old. Charlie turned his ax over (happens all the time) and could have rolled down the mountain. So, you see why every morning when he leaves the house, I must make a conscious decision to leave him in God's hands. So must all wives, I am sure. But, not every wife's husband dangles off the sides of mountains for a living!!!!

Just wanted to brag on my baby a little bit and thought this would be a fun post! A fun peek into our daily life.

Have a blessed week!!

I remember this....and I also remember hearing stories of guys going down the mountain in their skidders and ax(S). (not just flipping it over, but rolling down the mountain... )...daddy and charlie could tell some of the most horrendous stories.....

So thankful that Charlie is alive today!

I love my brother!

Thanks Julie. Those are some awesome pictures. Thanks for reminding me to pray for those with dangerous jobs. I am grateful for his hard work!
