No Naps!

My wonderful little girl decided yesterday NOT to take a nap! She actually said NO NAP! So she screamed and cried for about 2 hours! It was a rough day to say the very least. This is not at all normal behaviour for my child. She usually naps about 2 hours in the afternoon, goes to bed about 8pm and sleeps until about 8 am. I know, I thought I was lucky, too! Maybe Toddler Wise can help with this one!

For any of you that want to, I am going to start reading the book of Romans a few verses at a time and posting my thoughts on here. I would love it if some of you would read with me and us let each other know what we think. I am unable to really to a bible study any other way right now and I find that I am really needing to be in the word on a daily basis and to talk about it with other women. So, if you would join me in this I would appreciate it! And pass this blog study on to anyone you think would do this with us! So, tomorrow or the next day I will post on Romans 1:1-10. That should be easy enough to read!

I want to send some encouragement out to a few of you who have been on my mind lately. *Crystal, keep up the good work for your family. We really don't realize how much it means to our husbands and children when we try to keep everything running smoothly. I am proud of you! If you want to trade recipes, you can email me or we can trade on here!

*Melissa, keep up the good work for Christ and the church! I am so proud of you for trying to reach out to others. That is one of my biggest shortcomings, you encourage me so much!

*Mom, stay the course with Dad! Keep being the wife that you are and loving him as you do. Remember that your strength lies with the Lord. I love you!

*Aunt Brenda, thank you for being such a good friend to all of us when we need you! It is such an encouragement to me to worship with you and Uncle Danny. You always make me smile!

Well, that about wraps it up. I am going to finish the bulletin for church tomorrow, we haven't had one in a while. I have been REALLY neglecting things!

Love to all of you,
Julie

Kylie did the same thing to me when she hit the twos and now Alaina is doing it.... there really is no solution except just keep laying her down at the scheduled nap time every day and whehter she takes one is up to her. but she will understand that just because she says no nap doesn't mean that momma says no nap. I always laid kylie down and she eventually worked out her own schedule of only an hour a day. Alaina has always taken only about an hour nap and she does okay. But anyway. Claire may just be geting to the stag where she needs less sleep but keep putting her down and she will work it out once she gets that momma is not going to come back in there and get onto her or tell her to lay down. She has to do it no matter what. I don't know why they do this except that they hit the twos. but Kylie has started it again and it is worse this time. but love ya lots.
