Our Happy Easter

Well, to start with, I don't have any pictures yet because I am going to have to get the ones my cousin Joyce took because I was a bad Mama and left my camera on the kitchen table and Wal-Mart was closed! So, I didn't get any pictures of my sweet beautiful girls hunting Easter eggs! But, Joyce did! Thanks, Joyce, please don't delete yet! :o)

We are going to dress the girls back up and take some pictures this week so I can post those when I get that done. Anyway, stay tuned for pictures!

Other than that, Easter was probably THE best Easter we have ever had! I got everyone dressed with no problem, we cooked ham, cabbage, carrots, potato salad and a lemon cake with coconut and jelly beans for our church dinner, which was scrumptious! My sister, Tammy, made an apple cake that was out of this world!

We had a wonderful church service. Some new faces which is always SO wonderful! My husband's boss came with his sweet daughter, Kachleigh and Joyce brought her sweet little niece, Kara. We really enjoyed having them. Brother Will gave one of the most heartfelt stirring passionate lessons that I have EVER heard and that was the first one he ever gave! So proud of him! And the baby started kicking when he read Luke 10:2!!! I thought that was the most awesome thing, read this verse and you will, too!!!!! That's our baby!!!!
10:2 - Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Also, thanks so much to Joyce for bringing the Ressurection Eggs (highly recommend these if you have children, nephews or nieces, grandkids or teach children)& to Melissa for the Resurrection goody bags, the kids REALLY got what Easter is meant to be to followers of Christ!!!! Claire was SO excited to talk about the empty tomb, I am so grateful and blessed to attend worship with such wonderful people!! SO truly blessed to have a husband who sat down with Claire Saturday and got it all straight so patiently in her cute little mind, he was very good at clearing up what part the Easter Bunny has in it all (not much, he just brings the candy, haha!) Thanks, Babe!

Just a wonderful day of sweet fellowship and lovely surprises! We were truly blessed with a wonderful Easter that was ALL about our Savior!

Pictures to follow, I promise!!!!

*Oh yes, yesterday evening(while the girls were napping) Charlie & I got to sit on the porch and eat our Italian sandwiches (will post recipe later today) and our potato salad and read scriptures and talk and just enjoy our meal. It was so precious to me, that sweet time with my amazing husband. Really made for a great week!

Love to you all,

Julie
