My Husband, My BEST friend

Happy Anniversary, Baby! It's the 10th anniversary of our first date! !!!!!! He called me October 8th and we went out October 10th. What wonderful memories I have of that night, the night that I knew I had met the one for me.

I got off work at 7:00. I worked at a small grocery store about 40 minutes from my parents house. I got home as quick as I could and showered and changed. I was SO excited!!! I had NEVER been that excited to go on a date before!!! I just felt so GOOD about it.

He picked me up at 8:15 because he had a little trouble finding our house. lol. I had to flash the porch light at him when he drove through our big metal gates. I remember SO many things about that night like it was yesterday. I remember EXACTLY what he wore; what I wore; what he smelled like; what he looked like; what we talked about; where we ate (pizza); how I didn't want the night to end and neither did he; our plans made for the next night and our goodnight kiss. Shhhhh.......don't tell anyone but we were pretty sure we were going to get married by the time the week-end was over!

So, tonight for our celebration, we are having pizza and sharing it with Claire. Which is just fine by me. We waited a VERY long time to have Miss Claire and Miss Lily, so sharing our lives with them and any other children we may have is the greatest blessing that I could EVER imagine!!!!!

Thank you, Lord Jesus for my husband and my babies. Thank you for the most wonderful 10 years of my life. Thank you for blessing me with someone who loves me and understands me so well. Very simply put; thank you for Charlie, I can never say that enough.
