I want you with me, said the little princess....

Tomorrow, I am putting ALL work, aside.....read here and find out why. Tomorrow, we are going to, as a family, just simply, BE. Be and play and talk and sing and strengthen our relationships instead of cleaning our house. Won't you join us? :)


 *Please pray  for Lily..she has poison ivy all over her face and hands. Her eye is almost swollen shut. We would appreciate your prayers! It is so hard to watch her be so uncomfortable and not be able to do much for it. :(

What I want for my kids....

"I don't just want my kids to be moral. I don't just want them to know all of the biblical rules for behavior. I don't just want them to make it through my home with good grades, no drug addiction and no premarital sex. I want them to leave my home with a hunger and passion to know God personally and to be used by Him to accomplish GREAT things for his kingdom. I want them to personally hear God's voice and have His Spirit's gentle touch and impression on their hearts as they read the Scriptures and struggle with the issues of their lives."

This gave me something to think about for awhile... actually, from now on, may I never forget these words. Something I really needed to hear today.

Is God in my home?

Reading this today. Reading & dwelling there. Reflecting and studying myself and my actions and motives. I love Sally Clarkson. She writes some very inspired things and always I dig deeper to find more of myself to give to my family after I read one of her posts or a page from one of her books. She is just that inspiring. And this post, right here, well, God gave her a good word. That's for sure. Read this and be changed. Like I am today.
