Andrew Coy David....8 weeks old!

Our son. Our third child here on earth. Beautiful, calm, easy going baby of the family. Mama's little man. Daddy's buddy. Claire & Lily's baby doll. I love to watch you with your sisters. With Claire you smile and coo and try so hard to interact with her. She calls you her, "sweet sweet drew" and runs to your every cry. With Lily you kindly tolerate her rough loving! She loves you so much but she just doesn't know how to be gentle! =) We are teaching her though and she is becoming a great big sister, too. Very protective of her baby Drew! =)
I love to watch you lay in your bassinet and stare at your mobile. You love the Bach and Beethoven settings and the nature sounds of crickets and birds. You are most definitely mama's boy! Classical music is what I love best when I have a bad headache and I could go to sleep under the stars any night! You are so cute when you move your fists and feet and try to talk to the crickets!
Daddy's nickname for you is "chigger" just as he calls Claire "cricket" and Lily "lightening bug". You are chigger. And it fits you so well! =)
You are eating every 3 hrs. just about right on the dot and you take about 3 -1 & 1/2 hr. naps every day. You eat about 8 pm. go to sleep, wake up at 11:00 pm, eat, and sleep through until about 6 or 7 am. You are an excellent sleeper! Which helps Mama feel so much better and I am able to function so much better with good sleep. =)
Drew, you are just a very good, laid back baby. You bring a lot of peace to our lives. You are just so good and content most of the time! =) We love you, so much, Drew-bear, chigger, and we can't wait to see what wonderful plans our Lord has for your life! It is such a blessing to be your mother!
Lots and lots and lots of love,
Your Mommy
*the other day, we were in the grocery store and a man stopped us and said, "you certainly have a quiver full" "it is so nice to see people who are joyful with their children, you seem like very good parents". It felt so good to hear someone praise us for having children instead of the usual looks and even rude comments we get sometimes because our children are so close in age. I just wanted to share that to encourage all of you that have children. There are people that notice your hard work and even though that is not what's important (that people notice) it feels good to know that there are kind people out there who understand all of your hard work is for a purpose. Anyway, I just wanted to share that. It made my day! =)

Andrew's birth day story & pictures!! (Our handsome sweet baby boy is 1 month old today!!)

Drew's birth day story (well, the abbreviated version, for those of you who asked for it)!

Andrew Coy David Fogg "Drew"

Andrew- "manly, strong, wise"-first apostle of our Lord Jesus Christ & in honor of Baby Andrew Fogg (Charlie's uncle)

Coy- "gentle, kind, quiet"- in honor of: Lloyd Coy Treat (my Grandpa)
David- "beloved of God" in honor of: Kermit David Ferguson (my uncle)
*The story of Drew's birthday begins with feeling achy and crampy off and on for about a month! However, the night before his birth, it was off the charts! I was up all night going to the bathroom and walking because my back hurt. I tossed and turned because my hips ached. But, I still did not think that I was in labor! =)
I woke up at around 6 and thought my water may have broke but I was just barely doing anything and in my history I have been a gusher when my water breaks, so, I didn't think it could really be that! But, by around 6:30 it just got worse so I called my Mom to come down and see if she thought that's what it was! Silly I know! After she came down, we called my sister to tell her that my water may have broke! Finally, we decided that's what it was and started getting ready to go to the hospital. It was around 8 am before we left and we had to drive an hour and a half to the hospital. So, after we arrived and got checked in, they hooked me up to pitocin as I was only a 3 and not even feeling my contractions yet! After 6 sticks and no success getting the IV needle in; I finally got the anesthegiolist who got it on her first try. Very painful. About noon I finally started feeling some real pain and progressed a 5 by 1:30. When I got my epidural(which didn't even work; the needle bent), I was a 7! And just minutes (and I do mean minutes) later, I was a 10 and ready to push with no doctor in sight! After the doctor ran from her office to the hospital, I was allowed to push and after much pain and a few pushes, sweet baby Drew came into this world and changed my life forever as once again I experienced the sweet blessed miracle, the privilege of giving birth.
I look at Drew and am amazed, as with all of our babies, that this child is part me & part Charlie & a lot of his own person! It's such a sweet time in our lives right now and I am so blessed and happy to be the Mama to such sweet babies and the wife to such a loving husband.

Well, there it is! The short abbreviated version of little Drew's birth day! And, finally, some recent pictures of Drew and our family to enjoy!

Have a great rest of the week!

Love,
Julie & family

Thank you so much & a prayer request

Hi!! Just a quick note to let everyone know that we are doing wonderful!! Thank you SO much for all of the sweet congratulations & emails!! =)
Drew slept some 3 hr. stretches last night and he is eating more with every feeding so it is going well. Friday night was kinda rough, he was up every hour but thanks to Mom and Crystal, Charlie & I got a nap Saturday evening so that helped!

I will be back to share some of his birth day with you but for now I am too tired to stay on here that long. I will try to have the pictures posted out of my camera later today or tomorrow. It's slow going around here and it may take me a little while. Just know that he is the sweetest cutest little boy that I have ever seen and he is already Mama's little man. And, Daddy is just over the moon with his little buddy. Claire takes her job as big sister very seriously and Lily thinks that he is her big baby doll!! =)

On a more serious note, last week, a family we know suffered a devastating loss. The husband, Chad, drowned and left behind his wife Laura and their two small children, a son and a daughter. Please pray for this family, fervently. I can't imagine the pain and devestation that she and the children are facing. I am sorry that I did not get it posted sooner so that we could all be praying sooner. But, I know that they will be needing prayers from now on through their lives. If you would do this, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Love to all of you and Prayers for you and yours,

Charlie, Julie, Claire, Lily & Drew

Where o' where is Baby Andrew?!

Just an update: I am dialated to the big number of 1 maybe 1 & 1/2!!!! That's it! 38 weeks and I am a 1 & 1/2 at the most! AGH! And, I was not really happy with my visit yesterday and I actually bawled after I got out of the dr.'s office. =(

Anyway, all of that to say, that I know God is teaching me in this moment. He is using this waiting time to bring some things to my attention and I know that I must abide in HIM as I wait. It is difficult to not demand and whine and cry that baby Drew come out today as right now that does not seem to be in our Heavenly Father's plans for this little one! I MUST trust that HIS plans are perfect and that He has the perfect birth day for our little baby boy. Just please pray for me that I can have the strength and peace to do that!! =)

In waiting out this time, maybe I can get a few more things accomplished before he arrives! Or, maybe I can just spend more time just being with my amazing husband and little girls! =) If he is not here by Saturday, Charlie & I have a big day planned with homemade doughnuts for the girls, outside playtime with them, and lunch and shopping(for the baby) in town just me & Charlie! So, that will be fun!!!! Time by ourselves!!!! Yay!!!! (Can you tell that I am excited?)

Well, I have to get off of this computer and make breakfast and play with the girls for awhile. They are SO exhausted from the trip and missed naps yesterday! It will be nice just to hang out here at home and let them play and help Mama "clean". They love to "help" me "clean"!! I hope it continues as they get older but I am not holding my breath!! =)

Oh, and we will be listening to a "SELAH" CD that I bought yesterday while we work and play! I have been wanting a CD of theirs for awhile and I am blown away!! My Mama even likes it and we very rarely ever like the same Christian music!!! So, I would say, that if it bridges generations like that, it must be awesome!!! We listened to it all afternoon yesterday!! Mama even loved the African stuff!! REALLY cool!!! =)

So, enough rambling for today. I hope you enjoyed my little ecclectic post about anything and everything! I am finding that as I get closer to the birth, I am rambling a lot!

Blessings and Prayers on you and your families,

Julie

38 weeks-No baby yet!!!

Well, there's not much to report except to say that there is no baby yet!! Contractions have been coming off and on for awhile now but still not regular enough and they are slowing down and then just stopping. It's irritating but I know and I am trying to remember that the baby will come in the Lord's good time! I just do not want to go very much longer because the baby will be huge and I am SO ready to hold this baby boy in my arms!!

So, I will definitely try and post some baby shower photos today and show you my HUGE 38 week belly!! We had an unbelievably sweet and thoughtful shower Saturday afternoon! Charlie couldn't be there (the first one he's missed!)because he had to work so, it was bittersweet but I enjoyed myself anyway and we got some really cute stuff for baby Drew! =)

Hopefully, unless I go into labor, I will get the pictures posted later today! For now, I am off to go walking with my Mom and try out my new double stroller with Lily! =)

Have a great Monday everyone & thank you so much for your sweet and thoughtful comments and most of all, your prayers!! They are much needed and appreciated!

Love and Prayers to you all,
Julie

Just some more cute things that we have received for Baby Drew; thanks everyone!! =)

stuff going on at our house...

Well, I have been having some definite strong contractions but still they are really sporadic although they are starting to be a little more regular! lol.. I know that really doesn't make any sense! =) Anyway, maybe the baby will be here soon. Pray that he is and that he is safe and healthy!!!!

This weekend we have organized and cleaned and with the two kids just basically cleaned in circles! We clean and get organized, they drag it out and make a mess! Ah well, that's life with a preschooler and a toddler and a baby on the way very soon!!! =)

Charlie is not at work yet today because he is having some pretty bad pain with his hernia and he is kinda hanging around in case the contractions come any closer. So, it's nice to have him here right now.

This morning I read a post here and I have to say that this woman's writing constantly gives me something to ponder and examine in myself and my own life. She really amazes me with her faith and what amazes me even more today is the awesome very real battle that we all face with Satan every day and how sometimes what we are fighting for is not clear until much later. I don't know if that is making any sense to anyone but it is what I brought away from reading this morning! Definitely was something I needed to read right now! Please pray for their family as they go through more struggles this week.

Here on the homefront, Claire is fighting allergies and just feels yucky. Lily is cutting more teeth and now has a 3 & 1/2 tooth smile! So cute! They are getting excited and Claire asks constantly "Can we go get baby Drew?" Lily rubs my belly and says, "Awww" which is her way of giving you "loves". So precious are my little girls! =)

Well, I have to go. I am getting uncomfortable and need to get some more things done if I can.

Love and Prayers,
Julie

36 Weeks!!! (and a picture!!)

Okay, I finally have a picture to post!! =) Loving the new camera!! Now, if I could just get a new computer !! Ours is pretty much shot. Anyway, here I am at 36 weeks. It is an awful picture but you get the idea!
I am so tired and Drew is so huge! His feet are constantly trying to find more room but I have to tell him, there is no more room! lol. The dr's estimated him at already 7 lbs and 19 inches 2 weeks ago at the ultrasound. So, I don't know how big he will be. Anyone want to guess?! =)
We are not sleeping well and by we, I mean, everyone except Lily! She sleeps like a rock. Claire is going through some sort of attachment thing with me and I can't sleep for the baby being restless and my hips and back are killing me! So, Claire is up like every hour and I am up going to the bathroom just as much! Charlie has a hernia so that is fun. He is not sleeping good, either, but is trying to help me with Claire at night and get up at 4 am to go to work! It's FUN.
We are getting a lot done for baby Drew. I hope to post some pictures of gifts he has received and some of the girls, too. Hopefully, I will get that done. =)
Well, not much to report. I am not eating much or really wanting to eat at all right now. I think that I am just trying to prepare for the birth.
I will try to keep you updated and Thank you so much to everyone for the sweet comments and emails! They really lift me up! =)
Love & Prayers,
Julie

34 Weeks

I am going to try to get my scanner to post a fabulous (who am I kidding?) picture of me 34 weeks pregnant. I will keep trying until I get it posted so hold on...it will be here before long, I promise. =) I realize as of yet, I have only posted one pregnancy picture. That is pitiful! I will try to do much better in the coming weeks. I have just been, can you say, overwhelmed?

34 weeks! Whew! This pregnancy has flown by, for sure. It has really been nothing but a blur since I found out about this wee little one in my womb. I am still in shock that I am having another baby. Many may not understand that, but for 7 years I did not really believe that I would have children or to be more accurate, I really did not let myself think of it too much. So, to be blessed with not only one precious babe but 3 in 3 & 1/2 years? I am still dreaming. Most of the time, it doesn't seem real that I can be living this life out. But I am. Thank God I am.

Claire is going through some temper tantrum episodes and man, those are fun! haha. Some days I feel like a prisoner of war in my home. Lily is becoming more and more sweet and affectionate but also more independent! And, she can throw some whopper temper tantrums, too!

So, all in all, in the midst of baby preparations and day to day life, we have our hands full! We hit the bed exhausted every single night but praise God, we do sleep through the night most of the time! Claire is up to go to the bathroom but that is usually it. Lily usually sleeps like a rock. I just hope it continues after baby Drew arrives! Those all night feedings are tough enough without the other two waking up!

Lily will be 15 months old next week and we are on the countdown waiting for baby Drew!!! I have been sorting through baby girl clothes and boxing them up. Which is bittersweet and hard to do. I am so very sentimental. I have been washing Drew's clothing and blankets and sanitizing his bottles and pacifiers and just trying to get everything in a neat little place.

Drew's room is just off the girls' room but he will be sleeping with us for a while to start with (well, not with us, but in our room in a bassinet). So, I am trying to go ahead and get his room ready for his stuff but it is not going to well. Right now, it is stuffed with storage boxes and books. So, I am going through a little of that every day and trying to get it organized and cleared out of there so we can paint this weekend and move in the furniture for Drew. =)

Charlie painted the kitchen and some of the living room last week. He is also working on taking down wallpaper and painting the bathroom. I am helping of course, just not with the paint. He has also been doing a lot of work on our pool and everything outside. He is exhausted but happy.

Any ideas any of you have for organization would be very appreciated! Anything that helped you with a new baby coming? Most of all, I know that I am just going to have to get in there and throw a lot of stuff away!!!

Right now, Drew is kicking all of the time! He has the hickups almost every night at bedtime which Claire & Lily did not do, so it is a new thing and it is funny but I feel sorry for him! I HATE the hickups! I also have so much more fluid with him than I did with the girls. I feel so huge and unbalanced!

Also, any recommendations on a good (not too expensive) double stroller? I am definitely going to have to have one with a 3 & 1/2 yr. old, a 15month old and a baby!!!! =) That and A LOT of prayers!! lol. =) Anyway, if you do know of some good ones would you please let me know? Thanks!

Cravings so far: Fruit (any kind) especially watermelon and strawberries! Ice water with a whole glass of crushed ice to suck on and crunch. For some reason, it soothes me. I did that with Claire, too! Chinese food (sometimes) and Peanut Butter and chocolate. Italian sandwiches, olive salad and pepperoncini peppers. (all my husband's fave things). That's just a few of the cravings I have. But now, it is mostly just ice water and fruit. Which is good and fine by me. I have gained enough weight! =)

I try to talk to the baby every night with Charlie. Sometimes, I read out loud the verses in the Bible that speak of Andrew, the first disciple. I really do love that name. Charlie has always wanted to name his son Andrew and I think it is such a wonderful strong name. It really just fits this baby boy. And I love the shortened form of Drew. Charlie's dad's brother was named Andrew and that is why Charlie always liked it. It also has the exact same meaning as Charles, which is great!

The middle name choices that we have are going to be kept quiet until the birth. We just like for that to be a surprise and actually, we usually aren't entirely sure until we meet the baby. Claire was Claire Elisabeth Rene(Reen, not Renee) until we met her and then she was Claire Victoria Rose (her birth and Wilma's death the day of my baby shower in some ways influenced the change). Lily was Lily Sophia Elise for a while and then she was Lily Charlotte Ann and then Lily Sophia Rene and then we decided to name her after Charlie in case she was the last one, so she became Lily Charlotte or Lily Caroline and we were not sure about the 3rd name!!! But, when she was born, she was just Lily Charlotte Alise!!! (Lise after my Mom's names and Alise, short for Allison and Alise, short for Alisabeth/Elisabeth/Elizabeth (all family names).

So, all that rambling to say, that we don't positively know yet but we will when we see little Drew!!! =) And no, I don't mind people asking me what we are going to name the baby, it's just that as far as middle names go, we really don't exactly know for sure until we see him! Hope that explains it better than I have been! =)

If it happens to be a girl, we have a short name list:

*Audrey(has been a top pick with all 3 pregnancies; LOVE it)

*Savannah(Love this, don't really know why)

*Raegan(after my sister and my dad)

*Anna(after my mother-in-law& I just love the name)

*Ava (biblical; pretty)

middle names:

*Elisabeth(grandmothers)

*Caroline(form of Charles)

*Catherine(grandmothers)

*Cate(same)

Third name:

No clue!!!! Truthfully!!!

So, feel free to make a girl's name suggestion if you have one!!! I always believe in being prepared but I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what to name this one if it's a girl (which I doubt almost 100% that it is ) but still, I like to at least have some good combinations ready!!! =)

Anyway, I guess that about wraps up this novel of things I wanted to say! Thank you very much if you are still reading and I promise to get my belly pics posted as soon as I can get the scanner to do it! *Definitely have to get a new digital before Drew arrives!!! =)

Dr. update!

Well, I had my appointment with my new Dr. today. She is great! SO nice and very thorough and well informed. Claire loved her, too! I had to have some more blood work done and I have another ultrasound scheduled for August 5th! And we can schedule a 4-D one if we want at that time! =) WOW! We were not expecting to get another peek at this little one before the birth or such a great picture of him so this is pretty awesome! We are very excited! =)

Other than a little nausea today (I think it's the heat and the long car ride) I am feeling pretty good and it was a good dr.'s visit. I am going back in 2 weeks and then it is every week after that. I can not believe that I am this close! Whew, this pregnancy has just really flown by and I am panicking a little bit about everything I have to do! (See, if you know me, you already knew that, haha). But, I do know, of course, that it will all be done in God's perfect time and I am trying to relax and enjoy the baby's kicks. Probably the last ones that I will feel in my womb. =( But, we are definitely not thinking of going for a 4th one! We have already signed the papers and I think I am most definitely through with the pregnant thing (as much as I LOVE my babies).

Anyway, tonight for supper we had amazing Italian sandwiches with this SO GOOD olive salad I bought at the Italian town we were in today (family knows what I am referring to) Oh, they were delicious with the pepperoncini peppers on the side! YUM-YUM!!!! =) I had one of those, a HUGE glass of ICE water and some angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream. Supper was amazing and I am stuffed. For some reason, I guess I thought I should tell you about my delicious supper! Must be the pregnancy thing. =)

Well, it's only 8 pm but the girls are in bed and we are going there too! I am so tired and sleepy and I just want to rest.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!

Love,
Julie

A pregnancy update & the power of prayer

This is a 4D ultrasound photo of a baby boy at 30 weeks. It's not Drew but I just thought it was neat to look at! I wish that we could do that but probably won't get to with this one. We have a 3D of Lily but not one of Claire(they were not performing 3D's yet). Lily's looks just like her & it would be neat to see how Drew looks but that's okay, we can wait! :o)

So, an update on my pregnancy, I am SO tired! My legs and feet are really swelling up and my hands and face do sometimes. I don't have toxema (that we know of), it's just a lot of fluid! The doctor is a little concerned about all of the fluid, especially in my legs because of family history with phlebitis. So, we are keeping an eye on that.
Other than the swelling & just being tired, I am doing pretty good. :o) Just anxious to see our son! But not too soon! We want him to be strong and healthy.
I can't really tell you how much I have gained because I actually don't know! I kept track of it religiously with the girls but haven't been able to with this one! But, that's okay, I am still well within normal range and I am not too worried about it as I tend to lose it fast when I need to. I will just up the healthy eating & exercise another notch after Andrew arrives. Which actually, I am looking forward to getting more exercise. I am wanting a double stroller so that we can take long walks and I am actually wanting to take up running again after the baby comes so we will see how that goes.
On another less happy note, I want to ask all of you who read this to pray hard for my family right now. There are a lot of circumstances I can't go into but we all need prayer very much at this time. I can give you a few specifics so here goes:

*My mom & dad for strength and wisdom to deal with circumstances that directly involve them but are completely out of their control. (sorry so vague)

* My sister, Tammy, her husband George, and their children: Jesse, Michael, Sarah & Rose. Just that God will intervene and cover them with HIS love and peace. For wisdom and strength.

*For our church family, wisdom, courage & strength.

* My Uncle Edwin who is undergoing chemo right now and is not taking it very well, physically. He is fighting his 3rd round with pancreatic cancer.

*For Charlie, me, my sister, Crystal, her husband Paul and our children, strength and courage and wisdom to say things we need to say in love and not anger.

*For my state of mind as we prepare for the birth of our little Drew. God's peace to be with us.

Thank you SO much and please let me know if I can pray for you in anyway at all. Thank you to all of those who have offered to help in various ways, you are truly wonderful! :o)

Praising God for the glorious people HE has placed in our lives.

*Updated: My OB, Dr. Dwain Doyle has died. Please keep his family in your prayers. Also, please pray that we may find a wonderful doctor to replace the amazing doctor that we had. You will be missed, Dr. Doyle. He was a wonderful man who loved children and life. And for those of you who subscribe to my blog posts, I am so sorry about all of the edits! I have to keep fixing it because I was crying when I typed it.

Love and Prayers,

Julie

Monday, Monday

Not much going on today. The girls are playing in their room, destroying it, I am sure! :o) My legs are swelling so I can't get much accomplished today. I am just doing laundry and playing with the girls. I have some chicken in the crockpot for chicken salad tonight & enough leftovers for tomorrow. I am going to serve it with crescent rolls & sliced fruit. Yummy & Easy!

Charlie talked to his dad last night and he is really excited about going to his 50 yr. class reunion in Maine. He is also really excited about his 12th grandchild coming soon! He is such a sweet dear man. The girls have been coloring & fingerpainting like crazy for their grandparents lately. It's really cute. :o)

My Mom & Dad were married 40 years on Saturday! WOW! Time really flies and I just realized yesterday that my Dad will be 60 on July 22. 60! How can that be?! :o)

So, anyway, just stuff going on around here. I am hoping that staying off of my feet will keep the swelling down. Hopefully!

Thanks for reading & Have a great week! =0)

Julie

The bedding that we LOVE, we hope to get this or something very very similar! So, what do you think? Is it "boy" enough?
I am SO excited to be having a boy! I love our little girls so much but I am just really excited to see what having a little boy will bring to our family! Can't wait until Andrew arrives!!! :o) And, our family will be complete!

Andrew (aka "Drew")

So, here it is! Drew's ultrasound pictures! The 3-D machine was not working so we did not get to do that yet. However, these are just fine with me! He is adorable and I have to admit that I feel a little funny about posting my child's anatomy on here but it is definite proof that HE is a BOY so, I guess it's okay! :o)

Sorry that it took so long to get this posted. I wanted to go ahead and get it done so family and friends that have not seen the pictures could get a chance to do so. Which is most of the family and friends we have. I have not been out much lately. So, here you go!!!

His HUGE foot!!!His adorable little profile(His knees are touching his nose!)

Unmistakable proof (as the ultrasound tech said) that Drew is a BOY!!! :o) Boy parts between two legs, the knees are bent.

So, there you go, everybody who has been waiting on the ultrasound pictures! So sorry that it took me so long to get these posted!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Love,
Julie

Happy Birthday, Baby! And News....

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHARLIE!!!!! I am making an awesome meal tonight with his favorite Blackberry Cheese Pie for dessert(seriously, you have to try this pie, SO good!) I can't wait until he gets home so we can eat it and it's super great for these crazy hot days! :o) Sarah has some yummy looking pictures here. (We use frozen blackberries, they are cheaper!)

For those of you who don't already know, we are having a BOY!!!! I will try to get the ultrasound picture up sometime this week but it may take a while. I am officially back on blogging break after this post! I had to break my blogging fast to tell you the great news and to wish my hubby Happy Birthday! :o)

So, Happy Birthday, Baby and Welcome to the family, Baby Drew! Can't wait to meet you!!!!

Asking For Prayers

I am supposed to be on a blogging break but I just wanted to ask everyone to pray for us tomorrow! Please pray that the ultrasound results are good and the baby is healthy and if not that we may have the strength and wisdom and courage to deal with whatever is to be. I am not looking for bad news but I always feel we must be prepared to face it. So, if you would, please say a special prayer for us & the baby tomorrow. It would mean a lot to me going into the ultrasound room.

The ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow at 2 pm. We have a long (1 & 1/2 hr. drive) to get there. I will try to let everyone know as soon as possible about the results. Thank you all for your thoughtfulness and prayers on our behalf. I am very grateful for all of our family, friends and bloggy friends! You mean so much to us!

Stay tuned for the results.......

Love and Prayers,
Julie

Random things....

I am going to the OB today and this is the day that I set up my ultrasound appointment for next week. I had to reschedule last week's OB appointment or I would have had the ultrasound this week but that's okay. Everything works out in God's perfect timing! So, I am just keeping everyone updated on that. I would appreciate it if you would continue to pray for the ultrasound appointment to go well.

I want to say thank you to a couple of people that I don't mention on here very much. My sister Tammy, who is going with me today and Melissa (Charlie's cousin) who has been a GREAT friend to me lately. I really appreciate all you do and how you have lifted me up the past couple of weeks, I needed that so much! I go to church with these two and I think that they are both trying really hard to continue to knit our congregation into a true example of the love of Christ. I am just feeling really grateful for these two lately and SO blessed to have them in my life.

Well, off to get things ready for the trip to the Dr's appointment! Should be interesting but fun with Claire, Lily, Sarah & Rose (my nieces). They really are a great help watching them! And, I can't wait to see my little sister, Crystal, this weekend and my nieces and nephews!!!! :o) We have LOTS of graduating seniors in the family this year! (A blog post just for them is coming soon).

*Also, I hope to get Lily's birthday pictures posted soon. We had some trouble with the 1hr. photo at Wal-Mart (surprised?) I still do not have my new digital. Charlie is going to pick it out for me and so I am waiting...... But, that's okay. He always gets the one I want, anyway! :o)

Have a blessed day!

Our babies

I am thinking today of my children.I am thinking of their soft baby skin, wide blue eyes, their chubby little arms hugging me, their sweet breath on my cheek when they want to be held, their laughs of pure joy, sweet dispositions and stubborn wills. Their love of singing songs over and over until they fall asleep (Lily, too, she hums really loud). Claire's sweet wake up hugs and Lily's kisses.

I also am thinking of my babies in heaven and how much I miss them. I know that I will see them some day and that makes me happy beyond description. I will see Jesus and my babies and they are safe in their heavenly home. So much safer than I could ever make them here. What a blessing to have them waiting for me. What an incentive to tell others of the saving power of Jesus.

I always think more often of our babies in heaven when I am pregnant. I guess being pregnant just makes me feel closer to them. As I lay in bed last night and let the baby kick and roll, I thought of how blessed I am to experience this again. It will be hard, yes, without a doubt. But, life is full of hard things and some are definitely worth the work. This is one of those times. This baby is worth the work. He/She is definitely one of our greatest blesssings and will be one of the greatest joys of our life. I can't wait to meet you little one and teach you so many things as I watch you grow. I can't wait to see you with your sisters and tell you about your siblings in heaven. I can't wait to give you hugs and kisses and "I love you's" every day of your life. I can't wait to see your little feet and hands and your beautiful eyes and to kiss your sweet little cheeks. Only a few short weeks and we will meet you! We will see you on the ultrasound next week and Daddy can't wait, either! As many times as we do this, we never get tired of seeing our precious little ones on the ultrasound screen! What a beautiful sight!

Little one, you are so loved and cherished. We know that God has a purpose for your life already and I can't believe that we are so blessed as to be the ones to prepare you for your life. What a blessing you and your sisters are to us, we love you, Baby Fogg!!!

Thank you, Lord, for the precious blessings you have bestowed upon us. We are forever grateful and humbled by your amazing grace. There really are no words for the love you have shown us.

Update on girls dr. appts & the baby's ultrasound

Well, the girls have an appointment for Wednesday morning at 10:15 and I had to reschedule the OB appt. for next Tuesday (he only sees OB patients on Tuesdays now) so it may be another week before we get to do the ultrasound and see the baby. UGH! (we have to schedule this ultrasound through the hospital and they like to schedule a week in advance after your OB appointment). whatever. Anyway, I am thankful that we all have appointments and maybe this will work out. Please pray that the girls continue to feel better. Lily is acting a little better and so is Claire but they are sick, I can tell. :o(

Just wanted to keep you updated. Thank you for praying!
